GOLDEN's Gessos and Grounds offer artists a variety of ways to prepare materials for acrylic paintings or other art media such as oil, alkyds, charcoal, pastels and even watercolor. GOLDEN Sandable Hard Gesso is formulated with 100% acrylic polymer emulsion. It contains high levels of titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate and talc to produce an easily sanded surface that is smoother and more even than those created using regular gesso. NOTE: This product is designed for rigid substrates only and is NOT to be used on flexible materials, as cracking may occur.
